How She Empowers Others

At just five years old, Diana Dowell fled to Interval House Crisis Shelters with her mother to escape a near-deadly fate at the violent hands of her father. Sadly, she continued to endure abuse as a teen and, later, as a wife. But Diana has turned her most personal challenges into powerful tools that have not only shaped her life’s work, but also saved thousands lives. Today, she is a leading expert on children, youth, and teens at Interval House.
