We call them real men and ask those who fit the mold to please stand up. I’m talking about the men who revere women and respect themselves, the men who surround themselves with people who bring out the best in them and the men who are passionate about their dreams. The men man enough to be honest and vulnerable, who can debate without arguing and who are role models for those around them.
One such man -- whom I deeply admire and respect -- is Dave Drever. He is a multi-platform pioneer, Founder of The UnYted and my mentor. The UnYted is a media group dedicated to creating positive mainstream media geared towards Generation Y females. He is a brilliant businessman, an amazing husband and a champion for women everywhere. The first time I met Dave, I was in awe of the class and enthusiasm he exuded and so inspired by his vision for leaving this world better than he found it. There’s not a day that goes by that he doesn’t mention how lucky he is to have found his wife, how grateful he is for the life he lives and how excited he is that we are one step closer to making this world a better place for women. Dave teaches with patience, he listens, and he cares. He makes his friends his family. He’s a guy’s guy and inspires other men to stand up to be the 21st Century hero we all want to believe exist.
