How He Empowers Others

Is Your Home Making You Sick? This is the question which led to Green Nest's inception in 2003. Ron's wife Lisa, a former interior designer, started feeling run down and tired all of the time. She was well aware of the abundance of toxic materials that exist in homes today from her experience as an interior designer. Lisa then began a journey in search of answers. After much research and numerous doctor visits, she came to the conclusion that her house and products within the home were making her sick!

It was through their research that Lisa and Ron decided to become certiļ¬ ed Bau-biologists (building Biology-a study derived from Germany which encompasses how buildings impact life and the living environment). With his B.A. from George Mason University, Ron together with Lisa made the necessary adjustments in their home, and Lisa's health gradually became better. Ron and she decided to help other people in their endless efforts to attain optimal health. Together they chose to seek "greener pastures."

Quotes:

"A wise rabbi was walking along a road when he saw a man planting a tree. The rabbi asked him, 'How many years will it take for this tree to bear fruit?' The man answered that it would take seventy years. The rabbi asked 'Are you so fit and strong that you expect to live that long and eat its fruit?' The man answered, 'I found a fruitful world because my forefathers planted for me. So I will do the same for my children.'" ~ Midrashi

"Our fulfillment is not in isolated human grandeur, but in our intimacy with the larger Earth community, for this is also the larger dimension of our being...It is a question of interior richness within our own personalities, of shared understanding with others, of a concern that reaches our to all the living beings of the Earth, and in some manner out to the distant starts in the heavens." ~ Brian Swimme

"Until man duplicates a blade of grass, nature can laugh at his so called scientific knowledge." ~Thomas Edison

"The first wealth is Health." ~Ralph Waldo Emmerson, 1882
