Pam Kehaly is President and General Manager of Anthem Blue Cross of California, where she is responsible for the management of local group insurance business in California, including sales, account services, marketing, underwriting, product delivery, and the development of Anthem Blue Cross of California’s long term strategic direction. In additional, she is responsible for collaborating with local and state elected officials to improve the health of Californians.
Previously, Pam was president of national accounts for Aetna. There she had responsibility for the division’s profit and loss performance, and managed sales, underwriting, account management and operation teams throughout the United States in support of the national accounts division’s 9 million members.
Pam started her career with Blue Cross of California in 1986, where she held a variety of roles from operations to P&L management.
Pam is a strong supporter of healthcare transparency and has championed activities to deliver health care costs and quality information to the public through online tools, benefit design and network configuration.
Pam received a BA degree in Business Administration from California State University, Stanislaus. Pam is an active member of the Los Angeles Division of the Susan G. Komen Foundation and an Executive Board member of LA adaptive Business Leaders. Plan enjoys hiking, skiing and spending time with her husband and two sons.
