Susan Saint James is best known as star of the comedy series, Kate & Allie, her role in McMillan & Wife, and her role as Peggy Maxwell in The Name of the Game, for which she received an Emmy Award, and for several motion pictures, including Love At First Bite. In recognition of this body of her work, she received her Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008.
Involved with the Special Olympics since 1972, she has served as a board member in Connecticut since 1983, an executive member since 1995, and an honorary board member of Special Olympics International. She currently serves on the board of the Telluride Foudation and Grants Committee in Telluride, Colorado and serves on the University of Notre Dame Performing Arts Advisory Council.
This is Susan's 3rd time attending The Women's Conference and 2nd time serving on a panel. Susan spends her time traveling in support of her husband and four busy children, enjoying her grand child, working on her book and painting.
