Notable Tax Deadlines

To stay organized in your business for this tax season, important dates and deadlines are outlined below. 

In January, on the 31st, take note of the deadline for payments to independent contractors and employees. February 28th is when paper filings are due. 

Moving into the spring, take note of March 1st, 15th, and 31st. March 1st is the deadline for the Delaware Franchise Annual Report and Tax. On March 15, S-Corp and Partnership Extensions are due. Finally, March 31st is the eFiling deadline for most payout information returns.

April is an important month because April 18th is Tax Day! On April 18th, tax day filings are due for individuals and corporations. Also due on this day are Q1 Estimated Tax Payments. Next month, on May 31st, BE-12 Foreign Investment Forms are due.

Moving into the summer months, June has two important deadlines. On June 1st, LLC DE Franchise Annual Fees are due. Following this Q2 Estimated Tax Payments are due on June 15th. 

September 15th is the first important deadline to make note of in the fall. September 15th is the deadline for Q3 Estimated Tax Payments. The next important fall date is October 16th when extended returns are due.

Finally, the last important date is December 16th, when Q4 Estimated Tax Payments are due. Make sure to also take note of the fiscal tax deadlines and the penalties for late filing.
