When the clock strikes midnight on December 31, we say goodbye to the cold, dark, pessimism of 2009 and hello to the bright, cheery, optimism of 2010.

Travel and adventure top my 2010 To Do list. I plan on spending the next 365 days saying yes to new experiences. One of my biggest flaws or hindrances in life is that I am usually a pessimistic person. "No," is always my first response to new things, but all that is going to change in the New Year. In the spring, I am taking a long awaited, much anticipated trip to Europe. I plan on visiting famous cities like London, Stockholm, Amsterdam, and Berlin. Of course, the highlight of my trip will be visiting Paris, France. I have always wanted to visit Paris. I can't wait to immerse myself in the romance and history of the city that has been so beautifully immortalized in so many of my favorite films. Currently, I do not have the responsibility of a family, and I want to take advantage of that while I can. I feel like now is the perfect time to take chances in my life and career. In addition to travelling, I would also like to make a big move up in my career. I'm looking forward to all the hope that 2010 will bring.
