A 28-year veteran of the financial services industry, Terry Lachenbruch is Wells Fargo’s California Business Banking division manager for its East Bay area market, which includes Contra Costa and Alameda counties.
Lachenbruch was serving as president of Santa Clara Valley National Bank when Wells Fargo acquired its parent company, Greater Bay Bank, two years ago. Prior to that, Lachenbruch was president and chief executive officer of Mid-Peninsula Bank. She also served as president and chief operating officer of Golden Gate Bank from 2000-2003.
Much of Lachenbruch’s distinguished career was built at Westamerica Bank, where she worked for 19 years in various management roles, including oversight of business development, marketing, cash management, recruitment, and retail and business banking management.
Lachenbruch is actively involved in the community and has served on several boards. She is a council chair for the University of San Francisco’s community council and served as co chair for the 2008 Gala for the Women’s Initiative for Self Employment. Previously, she served on the board of trustees for San Jose/Silicon Valley Symphony.
Lachenbruch earned her bachelor of science degree in marketing from the University of Colorado and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of San Francisco.
She resides in Lafayette, Calif.
